Book your stay in the Lyngen Alps and Hire a Local Guide. Guiding service only. Customers are responsible for the following: -Accommodation -Food -Transportation All participants meet at Magic Mountain Lodge at 8am the morning of the booking. Trip objectives are determined the morning of the trip. If a more custom trip is desired then booking a private trip would be more appropriate for your expectations.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
Please pay special attention to our Cancellation and Refunds Terms. The Cancelation Policy described below applies to all trips EXCEPT Heli Skiing in New Zealand. See the Heliski Info Package for our Heli Ski specific cancelation policy. All trips must be secured by deposit or full payment. Full payment is due 10 weeks before the trip start date. If your initial booking is less than 10 weeks before your start date then full payment is required to secure your booking. All payments are conditionally non-refundable. We highly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurance to protect your investment. All cancellations must be received in writing by email. If you need to cancel your trip more than 10 weeks before the start date your deposit becomes forfeit. However, here are 2 scenarios where you many not lose your deposit. 1. We can transfer your trip to a later date within the season, if it is available. 2. If your trip gets sold to another person at full price... a) Your deposit may be refunded back to you minus a 10% admin fee. 10% of the deposit. b) 100% of your deposit may be used to book another trip with Aurora Backcountry for the following season. Deposits will become forfeit if not used within 1 year. If notice is received less than 10 weeks prior to the starting date, no money will be refunded. There is no refund for leaving early or arriving late. NORWAY "OPEN TRIP" CANCELLATION POLICY Only applies to the regularly scheduled open day trip service. This trip costs 1800 NOK per person per day. All payments are final. There are no refunds. This is because others who have books are reliant on your booking for the trip to be confirmed. If 3 people booked the trip and 1 person cancels this will not cancel the entire trip for the others. If Aurora Backcountry Cancels the trip for whatever reason a full refund will be issued. If only 2 people sign up, we will give the 2 booked customers the option for splitting the 3rd booking cost to confirm the trip. 1800 NOK divided by 2 = 900 NOK. Each customer will need to pay an additional 900 NOK to confirm there trip. If the 2 customers refuse to pay the remaining 1800 NOK then the trip will be canceled and refunds will be issued.
